How NetFlix destroyed Blockbuster Video ?

I remember going to a video library on my bicycle to rent RoboCop, Sindbad the Sailor & some other of my then-favorite hits. Those used to be VHS tapes.
Soon there were VCD’s & DVD’s and now we’ve Blu Rays.
However the internet has clearly kicked ass of the above media and streaming video is set to rule the market for years to come.

I miss those simpler days and cleaning the head of the VCR with those solvent sprays.
